The first manned space flight

Hi, Jake Bison of the Bison re-enactment club here.
Well our one week break after the gruelling 'Hearts of darkness' re-enactment was extended a little but we are back!
As I mentioned last time, we were thinking of our next re-enactment as the life and times of Olivia Newton-John.After short deliberation with the members we quickly scrapped this idea...it seemed a little dull!
So we decided on the first space flight by Yuri Gagarin. As you might guess, it was a very simple re-enactment of this great event in space history, with only Mai Tai Bison playing the part of Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin.
But it was a most splendid performance of Gagarin'S 108 minute flight around earth.
We learned a lot about space flight in the early days of Soviet space exploration and all about this great man, Yuri Gagarin...an inspiration to all!
Next we have a collosal re-enactment to perform, 'the Rise and fall of the Roman empire'!
So be sure to return to read all about this exciting project!
Bye now.

I'd love to see a bison re-enactment of the famous England victory against Germany in the 1966 World Cup! Us English supporters don't have much to cheer about these days so re-visiting this momentus occasion will warm every Englishmans heart!
