Eraserhead

Hello, Jake Bison here.
Recently we performed another movie re-enactment, the spooky and strange movie by David Lynch: Eraserhead.
We decided to do this re-enactment true to David Lynch's original style so we used a lot of low lighting and had very long pauses of silence throughout the piece.
And I must say it turned out very well. The director for this re-enactment was Lulu Bison. She had some very good ideas and adapted the movie version well to live theater.
Lathe Bison was great as Henry Spencer, as was Heed me Bison as Mary X.
How the baby in the movie was made is a mystery, but I can tell you the baby we used was a chestburster model from the movie Alien that Tigger Bison owns...it was perfect!
Other cast members included Totem Bison, Cashew Bison, Up the ante Bison, X Bison, Hopkins Bison, Gundar Bison, Eric Eric Bison, and Subset Bison.
A fine re-enactment enjoyed by all.
On a sad note I must announce the departure of one of our members. Sliding Patty Bison, who has been a member since day one, is moving to warmer climes due to health problems.
We will miss you Sliding Patty Bison, your cheery mood always brought a smile to our day! And we loved your homemade Leek soup!
Sliding Patty Bison informs us that she will join another re-enactment club so maybe one day we will see her again at the national convention. Great!
Well, that's all for now, enjoy your week won't you?!

B.I.C.

Hi, Jake Bison of the B.R.C. here...back from Portugal!
As King Lear Bison told you in the last posting, I went to the Annual International Bovine Re-enactment club festival in Portugal.
It was great!
I met many interesting re-enactment club members from all over the globe and saw many fascinating re-enactments. I particularily enjoyed the Finnish re-enactment club's version of 'Joan of Arc' and the Argentinian re-enactment club's version of 'J. Mascis and his music'.
Great stuff that our club must aspire to!
When I returned the B.R.C. had already decided to not continue the Roman empire re-enactment as it was stifling our creative process, which was a good move.
So they had decided on 'The history of the B.I.C. pen' as the next re-enactment.
And a fine re-enactment it was! Certainly up to par with the re-enactments I had experienced in Portugal.
How glad I am to have joined such a worthwhile pursuit in life!
Our next re-enactment is at this point unknown but certainly will be exciting as ever.
Until then, have a great week won't you?!
